Every game in today’s time, released with a storyline. Without a unique story consept, it will hard to grow exponentially in the battle royale gaming industry. In this article, I will explain what exactly happening in Indus and who are Mythwalkers, Paragon and the story of Indus Battle Royale.
Let’s starting with what’s actually Indus? Indus is a planet in this game Indus Battle Royale. It is described as a planet of wonder with ever-changing floating islands, and it was the home of the intelligent Yaksha civilization. Also, Planet Indus and the Yaksha civilization play a significant role in the game’s backstory and setting of the gameplay.
Virlok is the ever-changing island map, described as a series of floating islands in the sky. In the Virlok, you all fight for getting a Cosmium. For example: well known game PUBG, here all survivors fight for Chicken dinner. In Free Fire, all survivors fight for getting Booyah! On the other hand in Indus Battle Royale, Mythwalker’s Paragon will fight to get the Cosmium.
Cosmium and the Yaksha
Cosmium is a life-changing natural wealth, powerful and mysterious gem that can be useful to teleport from current to another galaxy. It was first discovered by the Yaksha. Yaksha civilization was far ahead of others in the galaxy because of their research on mysterious gem Cosmium. They used Cosmium to power their field projection, manipulation, and anti-gravity technologies. Which enabled them to tap into extra-dimensional energy to fulfill their needs.
Yaksha’s mastery of Cosmium enabled them to surpass the use of jet engines and nuclear power altogether, but they had a short-lived rise to power. As fast as they gone to up, they disappeared without a trace, leaving behind no evidence of their existence. The entire race, along with the planet of Indus, vanished, erased from the pages of history.
Portal – Your Way to Virlok
Only known way to access Virlok is through a Portal. Which means you need the portal to enter in Virlok. Portals were Yaksha’s masterful creation and it is powered by Cosmium and allowed instantaneous travel across large distances. However, the disappearance of the Yaksha resulted in the loss of all their portals, and only one functional Portal remains in existence, which COVEN has acquired.
COVEN and you Mythwalkers
COVEN is an organization in the world of Indus Battle Royale, has an interest in harvesting Cosmium. According to the game’s backstory, COVEN has acquired the only known functional Portal that leads to Virlok. COVEN is described as a powerful criminal syndicate, led by a board of the most powerful and influential individuals in the galaxy.
Mythwalkers are hired guns and adventurers in the world of Indus Battle Royale. COVEN hires Mythwalkers as player characters to explore and exploit the secrets of Virlok. As a Mythwalker, you can choose to explore the remnants of the Yaksha civilization on Virlok, hunt for Cosmium, engage in battles with other Mythwalkers, or pursue their own objectives.
Paragons for Mythwalkers
Before going to the battlefield, you as a mythwalker can choose favourite Paragon and also customize according to your need. COVEN actively working to improve the functionality of Paragons, which are an advanced form of cybernetic technology. Also, Paragon technology consists of artificial humanoid bodies that individuals (aka Mythwalkers) can control through a remote neural link.
It is interesting to note that COVEN is recruiting compatible subjects from all over the galaxy for its Mythwalker program, which suggests that the use of Paragons may be a key part of this program. It will be exciting to see how Paragons factor into the gameplay of Indus Battle Royale, and how Mythwalkers can use them to gain an advantage in battles on Virlok.
