Your wait for the next Archon quest will over soon as the Genshin Impact 3.6 update is set to release on April 12 at 11:00 (UTC+8). This update promises to reveal the mystery behind the Loom of Fate and the Unknown Sanctuary, along with brand-new characters, enemies, events, weapons and more.
While HoYoverse has yet to officially announce the release date, leaks and speculations have revealed a lot of information about the upcoming update. Here I will provide you with all the details you need to know about the Genshin Impact 3.6 update, including its release date, time, leaks, and banners.
Release Date and Time
As mentioned earlier, the Genshin Impact 3.6 update is expected to launch on April 12 at 11:00 (UTC+8). Game developers will take down the in-game servers for maintenance for a few hours before the update goes live. During this period, you will not be able to play the game. However, to compensate for the downtime, HoYoverse will give players free Primogems as a compensation reward that they can collect via the in-game mail.
New Characters
Genshin Impact 3.6 update will introduce two new characters, Baizhu and Kaveh. Baizhu will be a 5-star character, while Kaveh will be a 4-star character. Players will be able to pull both of these characters from their respective banners by using Intertwined Fates. Dehya will also be available to pull from the Standard banner.
Baizhu is the owner of Babu Pharmacy and is known for his expertise in herbal medicine, while Kaveh is a prominent architect in Sumeru and a close friend of Alhaitham. Data miners speculate that the new Sumeru area could be home to a new domain that will drop artifacts specific to dendro characters, which would be a welcome addition for the strongest teams in the game. If you want to watch full leaked gameplay video of Baizhu and Kaveh then consider checking my latest article on Baizhu and Kaveh Gameplay.
As I said, the order is indefinite, in the end it will be below:

New Area and Leaks
According to leaks, the Genshin Impact 3.6 update will introduce a new area into the game. Recent leaks and speculations suggest that three rerun banners featuring Eula (Cryo), Nahida (Dendro), and Nilou (Hydro) will join Baizhu’s banner, in addition to the leaked map of the new region whose name is still unknown.
You should wait for official announcements before spending their Primogems. It’s worth noting that all of this is subject to change.
One of the exciting features of the 3.6 update is the introduction of a new location, Chenyu Vale. This area is speculated to be an expansion of Liyue and consists of many mountains and streams. While it’s unclear how big this new location will be, players are excited to see what new adventures await them.
Another rumor is the addition of new enemies and variants that you will need to eliminate. While it’s still early days, leaks suggest that players will be facing some deadly foes in the 3.6 update.
New Gadget/Mount

You can also expect the release of a new gadget in the upcoming update. The gadget, which looks like a Seele, can be used as a drone to scout out locations and solve puzzles. Players are eagerly expecting more information about this gadget and are excited to see how it will impact the gameplay in Genshin Impact 3.6.
Finally, you may also have a companion named Slusa who will assist Paimon and the Traveler during the exploration of the new region. The expansion is expected to be as big as the Desert of Hadramaveth, and players are excited to see what adventures await them in the Genshin Impact 3.6 update.
Genshin Impact 3.6 update is just around the corner, and it promises to bring a lot of exciting new content to the game. From new characters to a new area and more, there’s a lot to look forward to. Keep an eye out for official announcements from HoYoverse and be sure to check out the new update on April 12.
