Low Ping with High Speed internet, but still can’t play Free Fire because of late game response? Enemies knock down 3 to 5 seconds late after giving damage or giving a headshot? Gloo walls comes 4 to 6 seconds late after throwing? Looks like you are facing same issues I experienced recently when playing Free Fire. But I got the final solution and here you will know how to get rid of network delay while playing Free Fire.
Why you are facing Free Fire Delay Response?
Normally when Free Fire server gone down, then every player of the game face the network issue. But in today’s time there is a confusing network problem faced by maximum people when playing Free Fire.
This problem is not happen for all. It means the problem is facing by players in specific location or areas with specific internet network provider. You can easily watch YouTube video with high quality, you can open websites on Google without late loading issue. But the problem with Free Fire.
The problem is comes because of network delay. Let me explain deeply. You can watch a video because the video was already uploaded to YouTube server. You just watching a video from YouTube server. On the other hand, Free Fire works in real time. 1 second network delay can destroy your whole match. Network delay is really irritating for every competitive players.
Here I list how many things that happen when you face this problem in Free Fire:
- Guns, gloo walls, equipments comes to your backpack after 3 to 5 seconds after your click.
- If you give a headshot on enemy, he knockdown after 3 to 5 seconds.
- Even when you use gloo wall, it takes 4 to 5 seconds to appear to protect you.
This problems normally happens when your ping is between 100 to 500. But now a days, because of network delay in your area, same problem is facing by you even your internet speed is high. When I deeply researched on the topic, I found that not only in my case, the same problem is happening with other Free Fire players. But finally I got 2 solutions to fix the problem.
Solution 1: Use a fast VPN app
This is very important to choose a high speed VPN network to fix network delay. If you belong from India, then consider connect with Indian VPN network. In the same way, if you belong from US, then you can use a United States VPN network. If you belong from Brazil, then choose a Brazil VPN connection.
I tried many VPN apps to get rid of Free Fire network delay. But Quick VPN provide me better results. So below I am trying to guide to setup the VPN app.

- Go to Play Store and download Quick VPN app.
- Open app and select your nearest server
- Click on ↑(arrow up) button below
- Allow connection permission and wait for fully connect.
- Once connected, open your Free Fire and enjoy the game.
After end of playing Free Fire, if you want to disconnect VPN, then you need to click on ✕ (cross) button under the Quick VPN app.
I am playing in Indian server of Free Fire. In this case I need to connect with fast Indian VPN server. If sometime a server not working, you can choose other nearest server who provide a good server connection. When Indian server VPN gone slow down for me, then I select Singapore VPN server. This is also a fast server to maintain Free Fire network delay.
How you know the VPN connection is good or poor?
My average Free Fire ping is 60-95. After connecting to VPN, if my ping stay within 70-150, then this is a average connection. Instead of this, if ping goes 200+ after connecting to VPN, then I will choose a different connection. So always select perfect VPN server to fix Free Fire network delay. Otherwise ping will increase and you will get more network delay.
Keep in mind: After selecting a VPN server, wait at least 10 to 15 seconds to successfully connect. During the connection time, your Free Fire ping will increase to 999+ and will be decrease within few seconds.
Solution 2: Use a different WiFi connection
Maximum of people using direct sim card to get internet. If you are a sim card user, then try to connect with a WiFi. Also close Free Fire game from background of your phone and reopen the game to see changes with the network delay issue.
If you already using a WiFi, then you can switch to direct sim card data. You just need to change your network source to fix this issue. Sim card users need to connect with a WiFi network. Also WiFi network users can switch to different WiFi network or sim card data.
At last I recommend you to use a VPN app or software instead of using WiFi. Because many people don’t have wifi router. So VPN method is easy to get.
Tip: After connect with a new VPN or WiFi network, you need to restart Free Fire game. So close the game from background of your phone and open again. Otherwise in some cases, you may be face “network connection error” and 999+ ping continuously. Also you can use VPN app over WiFi network.
