As i mentioned you no need to top up. But you need to buy a special airdrop offer worth 10, 29, 30 rs. You can’t buy airdrop using Free Fire, that’s why you need to install Free Fire MAX. Which means you need to install Free Fire and Free Fire MAX both versions of the game.
After installing both game login carefully with same account in Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. Now you need to get the special airdrop using Free Fire MAX. So, open FF MAX and buy the airdrop. After bought the airdrop you need to open normal Free Fire. After opening you will receive the Golden Tribute Thompson skin without top up.

Before purchasing the airdrop in Free Fire MAX, i have only 2 diamonds in my Free Fire account. But after opening the special airdrop with 299 diamonds, i received 1 extra diamonds. Which means now I have 302 diamonds in my account.
As you know to complete this top up event, players need top up 1 diamond. So, after getting the airdrop through Google Play using Free Fire MAX. I got 1 extra diamonds and this is count as top up.
Before applying this method, check the date you are reading this article. Because this method is working 5 August. So, if you apply this after the August month then this will may be not works.
