All Free Fire players are now eagerly anticipating the OB40 update. Garena has been hard at work to ensure that the game provides the classic Free Fire experience aka old Free Fire that players know and love. Additionally, it appears that the Annual Rampage event will be making a return with this patch. So, here you will know about OB40 update, changes, advantage server and details about Rampage 5.0.
According to my previous analysis, you may know that Garena releases OB updates in a Wednesday. In that day, also new clash squad rank season starts. But there is a twist in this update. After seeing the current Clash Squad ending date, it is likely hard to give you exact release date of OB40. Because during writing this article, Garena scheduled CS Ranked season 18 to be end on 1 June. But that is Thursday, not Wednesday.
Updated 17 May: According to latest Awaken Alok banner, OB40 update will release on 31 May, 2023. Also, latest OB40 Advance Server is giving hint that “There will not be any Rampage event coming with the OB40 update.”
If the update release on 31 May, then you can experience the OB40 advance server after 19 May. You just need to register for advance server and save the activation code to play in upcoming advance server.
If I talk about changes, then new character, weapon adjustment and more. But the highlighted part of OB40 will be Rampage.
Is Rampage coming this June?
Now a days, Rampage become annual event of Free Fire. That’s why Garena continuously released rampage over the past 4 years. First Rampage 1.0 released in 2019. This is 2023, and that’s why it should be Rampage 5.0. When I researched deeply on Free Fire rampage, then I found it Garena normally release this event from mid of June to starting July. It means there are higher possibilities for Rampage 5.0 in this June 2023. After seeing leaks on OB40 advance server, there are no any leaks found by leaks providers. Maybe Rampage postponed or cancel for this year.
In previous year 2022 on Rampage 4.0, Garena released a Tailor bundle (known as Legendary or Evo bundle). Same like last year, game publisher will release a Evo legendary bundle during 2023 Rampage. However, this is just a speculation regarding Evo bundle release. It will confirm once Garena release the OB40 advance server, where leaks providers will access the upcoming game content through data mining. Update: A new Tailor bundle (aka Evo bundle) appeared on OB40 Advance Server logo of Free Fire.
Free bundle in Rampage: There will 4 rampage bundle available with rampage. 1 bundle will be free for every free fire players and other 3 bundles can be purchased through diamonds. Currently I can’t give you the image of rampage free bundle. But definitely the game publisher Garena will give you a best bundle with effects on rampage theme.

Update on May 25: According to tipsters, Garena may not be planning to release Rampage with the OB40 update, as there have been no leaks or hints in the latest Advance Server. Rampage may be delayed for the year 2023. Let’s see what happens. I will update this article once I receive any announcement from Garena.
