The key for level increase is experience point (aka EXP). As soon as you collect more exp point, the level will also start increasing. It means now your main goal is to collect more exp. So, let’s explore the ways to get more exp to increase level fast.
1. Take EXP cards
There are 2 types of EXP cards avilable in Free Fire. 50% EXP and 100% EXP card. Try to join a level 4 guild to get 50% EXP card for free in every Tuesday as a daily login reward. On the other hand, if you want to get 100% EXP card, then you need to spend 100 diamonds for a 7 days validity card. You can get the 100% EXP card by going to Store > Normal > Item section of Free Fire game.
If you have only 50% exp card, then you will get 50% extra experience point after completing a match. In the same way, if you own both 50% and 100% exp card, then here you will receive 150% exp after completing a match. So, this is a good practice to collect both exp card if your goal is to increase Free Fire level.
2. More Survival, More EXP
When your goal is to only increase level, then there are no matter how many damage, kills you have. There are only matter of total survival times. A Free Fire battle royale match take 17 minutes to complete. So, you need to survive at least 15 minutes to get maximum EXP points after the end of match.
If I share my experience, then Squad mode is better than solo and duo for survival. Because if you eliminated by enemies during playing Free Fire, then teammates can easily revive you by using revival point or using a vending machine.
3. Play BR-Ranked only
There are lots of modes released by Garena in Free Fire. But if your aim to increase level, then avoid all other game modes. One and only best mode is Battle Royale Ranked (BR-RANKED). This is a full map mode where you will receive extra 20% EXP and maximum of highest level players suggest to play full map rank mode.
Currently there is no confirmation that you will receive 20% exp or not. Because if you see the old Free Fire and new Free Fire images below, here you can clearly notice that now a days there are no any sign of getting extra exp while playing Battle Royale Ranked mode.
Even if Garena removed the 20% extra exp, but you should recommended to play battle royale rank mode. Because as I already mentioned “More Survival means More Experience Point”. Also if you have confusion between solo, duo and squad mode in BR-RANKED, then my answer is Squad mode to get more survival time.
Also some players got better results to increase exp point while playing solo mode. But I not suggest this mode, because solo mode may be boring for you. Another reason is – if someone eliminate you after landing, there you will get less than 50 exp point. Final Conclusion is – if you are a rusher, pro player and don’t have a squad, then you can consider solo mode. Otherwise squad mode to increase fast exp and level is helpful for maximum players.
4. Get the best Position
Position is another way to get extra exp point. If you play solo, then try to come within 5th position. It means, survive until 5 enemies not show in alive. Below I added a image where you can see how many players alive while playing a match.
So, don’t get eliminated by opponents until this number decrease to 5 for solo mode, 8 for duo and 10 for squad mode. Which means if you are playing squad BR ranked mode, then don’t get eliminated before the alive players number decrease to 10. It will help you to achieve top position to get more experience points.
5. More Movement, More EXP
Some Free Fire players go into the water outside the map. In this way they not make any movement or travel distance. So, don’t do the same mistake. Land on your favourite place on the map and try to run every time. As soon as you cover more distance, exp point will also increase.
For example: if you land on Peak, then don’t camp here for the whole match. Just loot as soon as possible and try to go in other places like Clock tower, Factory etc. So, at the end I want to say “Don’t camp if you want to increase level fast, play like a legend”.
6. Play More, Get More EXP
Total gameplay time of the day also matter to level up. If you play Free Fire 1 hours per day and another player play Free Fire 5 hours in a day, then his EXP will increase fast. It means he will achieve new level faster than you. Some players who can’t play Free Fire, they share their account details with friends who help to increase FF level.
Suppose you played 2 hours per day and your friend play with your account 2 hours per day. It means technically your are playing 4 hours in total per day. So, in this way some players make their Free Fire id continuously playing for 8 to 12 hours per day. But remember that to not share your Free Fire account details with online friends. I am just sharing this method to gives knowledge about some highest level players, who play 12 hours+ by playing in multiple devices.

How to get 50% EXP card for free
First way is to join a level 4 guild. Once join a guild, you can claim 1 free 50% exp card for next 6 days. It means you can collect 1 exp card again in next week. Second way is using Rank tokens. If you play rank games, then definitely you have enough rank tokens to get 50% exp card. Just go to rank exchange store by clicking on Rank token icon as shown as images below.
As per new update of Free Fire, now you have a third option to get free 50% exp card. Just go to Store > Redeem > Buddy Mart. Here you can claim the exp card using Buddy coin. Also you can get buddy coins by playing games with new players of Free Fire.
