When everyone says BGMI banned, it looks like you can’t play the game. But BGMI servers are still working after getting ban. This is interesting because why government not taking action even BGMI banned and Krafton not close the server. Does BGMI really banned?
BGMI Not Banned
If you stay connected with youtube and other news platform then you definitely know that BGMI is now banned. But if I tell BGMI not ban and just blocked! This is confirm by recent RTI response i shared with Krafton and Government discussion article.
As a BGMI fan submit RTI and got reply regarding BGMI ban and Krafton meeting. But if you take a look at the highlighted line in the image below:
You can found that RTI response that MeitY has blocked gaming application BGMI. There are many differences between blocking and banning a app or game.
Just because BGMI not banned, so players are continuously playing games without any server problem. As the game is blocked in Play Store. That’s why you can’t download BGMI via Play Store. Because of Google Play is a source of download android apps, Krafton also not able to release BGMI 2.2 update.
When PUBG Mobile removed from play store then their servers also closed permanently. Because PUBG Mobile banned in India and other side BGMI blocked in play store not banned by government. Also the BGMI block is temporarily and sources said that BGMI will unban/unblock late December.
According to some BGMI influencers Krafton will launch PUBG Mobile India. But this is just a rumour. But there are higher chance that BGMI comeback with new Indian servers with no link with third party developers and severs from other regions.
Many BGMI players reported in last month that their BGMI account got banned without any reason. After investing their issues, i found that many of them install BGMI 2.2 update through thrid party websites. Who provide a unauthorised BGMI APK file. So avoid install 2.2 update of Battlegrounds Mobile India unless Krafton offically release it on play store.
